Lower East Side, Manhattan above
I have sought street art in many different neighborhoods:Bushwick, Lower East Side,Soho, even in London andBrighton, outside London. It is fun, addictive, and become an integral part of the modern neighborhood.
Gone are days of angry, ugly squiggles.
E 4th Street below.
Modern graffiti or street art, is sought after, by the artists, the residents and the store owners. It gives the artist a blank canvas to display her creativity, it provides the neighborhood residents a unique identity, it raises the property values by attracting commerce and foot traffic amongst other things.
Apparently, the same is true for London, and probably many other cities
